My Dress Up Darling Manga (Japanese: その着せ替え人形は恋をする, Hepburn: Sono Bisuku Dōru wa Koi o Suru, transl. “That Bisque Doll Falls in Love”) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda. It began serialization in Square Enix’s Young Gangan in January 2018, and has been compiled in 14 volumes as of November 2024. An anime television series adaptation produced by CloverWorks aired its first season from January to March 2022.
Wakana Gojou is a fifteen year old high-school boy who was socially traumatized in the past due to his passions. That incident left a mark on him that made him into a social recluse. Until one day he had an encounter with Kitagawa who is a sociable gyaru, who is the complete opposite of him. They soon share their passions with one another which leads to their odd relationship.
